By accessing this website or purchasing artwork, products, or services from Studio Sapien, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All artwork, images, designs, text, branding, graphics, and content displayed on this website are the exclusive property of Hala Sapien / Studio Sapien and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The purchase of any original artwork, print, commission, or physical product does **not** transfer copyright, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or commercial usage rights unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

No artwork may be copied, reproduced, altered, distributed, resold commercially, minted as NFTs, used for AI training, or used in promotional/commercial materials without prior written permission. All rights reserved.

3. Purchase of Original Artwork

When purchasing an original physical artwork, the buyer acquires ownership of the physical piece only.

The artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights, including but not limited to the right to photograph, publish, reproduce, license, and display the artwork for portfolio, promotional, editorial, and archival purposes.

4. Prints & Merchandise

Prints and merchandise are sold for personal use only unless otherwise stated in writing. Commercial resale or reproduction is prohibited.

5. Commissions

Custom commissions are subject to separate written approval and require a signed agreement before work begins.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all commission bookings. Remaining balances, timelines, revisions, scope of work, delivery terms, and usage rights will be outlined in the commission agreement.

Studio Sapien reserves the right to decline commission requests at its sole discretion.

6. Client Conduct

Studio Sapien is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional working environment. Harassment, abusive communication, intimidation, repeated boundary violations, or unreasonable conduct may result in refusal of service, cancellation of a project, or termination of an active commission agreement.

In such cases, any refund eligibility will be governed by the signed commission contract.

7. Shipping / Damage

Reasonable care is taken in packaging and shipping all physical works. Studio Sapien is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or events beyond reasonable control.

Any damage during transit must be reported promptly with supporting photographs.

8. Returns / Final Sale

Due to the nature of original artwork and made-to-order items, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Studio Sapien shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or purchase of goods/services.
